Take part2. Donate
Together For Hospice exists to support and enable frontline hospices to fundraise at a national level. You can support the continuation of our work by making a donation directly to Together for Hospice, or directly to your local hospice.
Donate3. Host an event or volunteer
You can support your local hospice by getting involved in an event near you, or maybe you have an idea for a new event, either way your local hospice would love to hear from you!
By volunteering for your local hospice you have the opportunity to meet new people and make a difference in your local community. In 2018 there were over 2,200 incredible volunteers supporting hospice services right across the Republic of Ireland. Your local hospice is always on the lookout for new volunteers!
The benefits of volunteering
People volunteer for many reasons, but everyone’s contribution, no matter how small it may seem can make a big difference.
As a volunteer it’s likely you will;
- Experience the joy of giving back to your community
- Make use of special interests and talents
- Learn new skills and/or develop new interests
- Meet new people with similar interests
- Make new connections in your community
- Make a difference
If you would like to get involved by volunteering or hosting an event, please get in touch with your local hospice.
